From Molly
Gooood Morning! I've decided to give you a gift...a beautiful gift...a priceless gift...a hilarious gift.... I've decided to give you the gift of links to my favorite music videos from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. You're welcome. Prepare yourself to enter a level of lightheartedness that you haven't experienced in a long time! Ohhh man, these really do crack me up and it doesn't matter how many times I watch them. So sit back with 10 minutes to spare and thoroughly enjoy what's before you! 70's - "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQwNN-0AgWc Why I love It....Feathered hair, hairy chests, random ghost town that has nothing to do with the actual song, and the fact that when you can strut with a coat over your shoulder there's no dancing necessary...what's not to like! If you want to EXTRA enjoy this video, watch it with no sound...especially during the chorus...classic... 80's - "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" by Wham www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIgZ7gMze7A Why I Love It...For one, the name is my potty training mantra for Stella. Not to mention, baggy t-shirts, big hair, epic high jumps, bouncing to the beat and not to mention George Michael wears shorter shorts than I would be comfortable in, and yet his legs look better than mine would! 90's - "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ Why I Love It...Uncomfortable lack of dance coordination, the random male backup dance introduced halfway through the video, constant hip wiggle from side to side, the bar tender who serves as the only audience that suddenly feels the rhythm and can't make his feet behave, and the beige trench coat that could make any situation suddenly uncomfortable. But despite all of this glitter, by far the greatest gem is at 2 minutes and 7 seconds...enjoy that. So I hope you enjoy the 10 minutes of light-hearted laughter and bless our musical fore-fathers. Bless you.
